‘Another Oh Hae-young,’ tvN’s television drama series, has been showing an unusual upward trend in viewer ratings. According to Nielson Korea, a media research company, this romantic drama achieved 5.031% (based on cable-platform households) of viewer ratings for the episode aired on the 16th. The figure increased from 4.3%, a 0.731% rise compared to last week’s record. The drama series began with a meager 2.1% viewer rating during the airing of its first episode. However, the ratings steadily rose to 4.3% for its fourth episode on May 10 and to over 5% for its fifth episode. The drama keeps outdoing its previous viewership ratings.
On the fifth episode, “ordinary-looking” Oh Hae-young (Seo Hyun-jin) was shocked by the fact that the woman who dumped Park Do-kyung (Eric Mun) was “pretty” Oh Hae-young (Jeon Hye-bin), whom she had an ill-fated relationship with during high school, and realized that she was in love with Park Do-kyung. As Park also opens his heart to the ordinary-looking Oh Hae-young, the drama aroused the viewers’ curiosity on what kind of romance is to be unveiled on the next episodes.
